The tailings cyclone is usually used behind the thickener. Its structure is the same as that of the conventional cyclone. The main body is connected by a hollow cylinder and a cone. The feeding concentration of tailings cyclone is high (about 40%). The particle size of tailings is usually fine, and the classification of tailings requires a large ore feeding pressure. Many researches and practices show that the higher the concentration of hydrocyclone is, the higher the feeding pressure of hydrocyclone is, the greater the abrasion of the sand settling nozzle and feeding pipe of hydrocyclone is, and the service life of hydrocyclone is shorter. The separator of LDHB tailing cyclone is lined with polyurethane, which improves the service life of the whole device, and can complete slurry concentration and liquid clarification smoothly.
